Location– Hazra More, Near Jatin Das Park, Kolkata, West Bengal

Duties

• Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
• Need to take online and offline classes for Foundation batch(7 to 10), CBSE, ICSE and West Bengal Board.
• Develop and update course curricula, instructional materials, and assessments using instructional design principles.
• Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard to facilitate online learning components and track student progress.
• Incorporate research-based teaching methods and learning technology to enhance student engagement and understanding.
• Provide academic advising, mentorship, and support to students, fostering a positive learning environment.
• Manage classroom activities efficiently, ensuring adherence to university policies and fostering inclusive participation.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, research initiatives, and program improvements.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and contribute to institutional goals related to adult education and higher education teaching.

Skills

• Proven experience in classroom management and higher education teaching, particularly in mathematics.
• Strong background in curriculum development, instructional design, and lesson planning.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with research methodologies related to education and the use of learning technology tools.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies for adult learners and diverse student populations.
• Excellent communication skills with experience working with students across different levels of understanding.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor students effectively and provide academic advising tailored to individual needs.
• Experience working with classroom technology and implementing innovative educational practices in higher education environments.
